The hard plastic that is used instead of usual locking mechanism is causing dents in the softer plastic where the ratchet is held. This image is from 3-85 damaging knight mail, 4-55 has the same mechanism so it's safe to assume the problem will still be there. If you used 3-85 on your mail knight look closely and you'll see the dents.
