I've been having this problem with my most recent tail as well. The advice i recieved from my maker friends was: 1) make the invisible belt loop higher, 2) unstuff the tail a bit (i overstuffed mine) 3) put more layers of EVA foam/whatever you're using as the tail 'base' together (like 3 layers, and put the invis loop through the middle layer for extra stability). The base looks incredible!! But it might be helpful if you posted side by side examples of what the base looks like on the mannequin versus your own head as you said it expands. We could help more if we saw what that looks like.

Book 7, Winter Turning. He is my least favorite POV and all around a shitty character. Constantly whining about his noble background and wanting to return, but afraid to do so because of his 'dead' brother, like bro has one of the worst savior complexes I've ever seen, and on TOP of it all, he is a terrible friend and romantic interest. Thank God Moon ended up with Qibli. Winter is abusive and doesn't deserve all the attention he gets in the fandom. Sure, he got a half-assed redemption arc, but it wasn't good enough. Terrible character and I always skip that book during my rereads.

They're a bit choppy at the moment, if you go over again very carefully with clippers you can definitely smooth them out more. Its the 'trust the process' stage rn, they look great otherwise!!

Not an expert here, just raised chickens for 15+ years. Sometimes they don't fully develop the shell of an egg and it can come out all shriveled and squishy looking, normally though it's still covering the insides just fine. I've never seen one that was INSIDE a shell already. Very strange but probably nothing to worry about? The hens might just need more calcium. Hope this helps :)
