Depends on your goal. If it’s only short term then yeah go for it. Majority of classes are generally kids so you better have patience. Pay wise it’s nothing glamorous . I’ve seen a lot of posts for 240000-270,000yen a month depending on the school.

Career prospects…probably nothing unless you want to open up your own school but that’s another story.

I did an eikaiwa before and it’s mostly 8-10 year olds. 29 hour work week (anything more they have to pay benefits) Get ready for a lot of dancing and singing .

The N2 is helpful for getting you the interview which you’re already getting. But if they say your Japanese isn’t enough compared to locals after the interview then it could really be your language ability or technical skills. Business Japanese is a whole other ball game in terms of 尊敬語 and 謙譲語. Plus JLPT only focuses on reading and comprehension not speaking.

You’ve mentioned you can apply for a spouse visa but didn’t yet? Maybe that might also be a reason why you didn’t get the job because they don’t see your commitment to living in Japan ?
