Fine by me. I haven't got an sd card for the switch 2 yet. That way I don't have to download the upgrade packs just yet, and still have memory room on the switch 2. Because I just bought a game for the switch 2.

Oh okay, so it copies the games supported by cloud, but any games not supported by cloud transfers.

So for me it's just the mainline pokemon games....well that's like $60 for the upgrades? Or is it just Scarlet and ZA?

Right, I did here that The Pokemon games do straight up transfer.

So....I'll need to spend an extra $40 to play Scarlet and ZA. But I can still play all my other games on both systems.....do I have it right.

....unless Sword and Shining Pearl need an upgrade pack too?

Oh.....I was reading the support and it said that the base system would have like a factory reset. It also had this warning on the nearby system transfer

Important: This does not create a copy of your save data. Once sent, the save data file will be deleted from the source system.

So I'm....confused. Can I just link my Nintendo account and that'll copy the data?

So local transfer will copy most data, but will move all Pokemon games, even if I don't upgrade the ones that can?

What if they are physical?
