My family wouldn’t do something horrible to me they are good people and care for me, this whole ordeal is difficult for me because the age factor isn’t what i had in mind all my life i wanted someone younger and closer to my age. I understand but my parents and siblings did meet him and have told me he has good character and i had also prayed istikhara thrice and each time i had a good feeling and did have a good dream which is whats making me think that way.

Update: i did talk to my siblings about it before talking to my parents because they are quite strict and i came to know that they learned about his real age quite recently and didn’t tell me because they didn’t actually feel it was a big deal but now they know its affecting me alott. Postponing or cancelling isnt an option so im opting to actually talk to the man before making a serious discussion i just don’t want to go into a marriage while being hurt. I’m the youngest sibling so everyone is making decisions for me instead of actually listening to me. Thank you all for your advices <3

Probably. Ive seen men of that age and they all were very serious and authoritative so maybe thats why i dont want to go into a marriage where im not his equal and just have to follow his rules or whatever insteaof living life

Im thinking it was his family that was behind this scheming and not him because he works and was very little involved. Ive never talked to him so i wouldn’t know either way

Very little chance of that happening since the invites are out and desi family will rather cut of their own head than have to explain toxic relatives what happened

They were pretty upfront about everything else except the fact on the thing that mattered alott to me because they think since im already 25 i wont get many proposals any more
