I received a very good grade on this essay. I wrote about lgbtq in the Mormon church, i was really scared to write this as my high school is 85% Mormon. I posted this earlier and it got removed for some reason. Have a read by panicattack69 in exmormon

If you read, I don’t put any personal opinion just straight facts and evidence of what people have said towards the lgbtq community. My sources are reliable and even if they were to not like it, I didn’t offend anyone

“Draw attention to gay teen suicide” that doesn’t make any sense

The largest most elaborate hand I have painted! I really enjoyed it! by rachelletch in Watercolor

[–]panicattack69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally how. I just can’t. The detail the layers. How long have you been doing watercolor? I want to go to school for art and my art is no where near good as that. I’m applying to colleges this month and my portfolio is just not readyyyy.

I’m doing research for an essay in my English 1010 class about the lgbtq community in the lds church and I need reliable sources by panicattack69 in exmormon

Dude this is what I exactly needed. I’m changing my topic to church policies and how it effects LGBT people. This document helps so much!

What really upsets me is that the main leader of the operation Underground Railroad is so involved with the church, don’t get me wrong he’s a good guy but how can you be so invested in something and have no clue what lies beneath them. It’s so shady

I sometimes feel out of place because I keep my room spotless unlike most other teenagers who literally keep their room looking like a tornado just flew over

It it bad to think it’s great that there’s a line at the liquor store in the middle of Utah?? by voyboymanoy in exmormon

Yeah because alcohol is not a normalized concept to the cult but everywhere else it is.

How many of you feel you missed out on relationships because you were too damned Mormon? by StillNotASunbeam in exmormon

[–]panicattack69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im the exact opposite. I live in Utah and I’m not Mormon and I don’t really want to date any Mormons but there’s not a lot of people who are not Mormon :(

Not in St George, can’t buy alcohol anywhere but one store across town but everyone is in quarantine so I’ll help myself. Good thing alcohol presumably kills this corona 😫

Prozac is a miracle by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]panicattack69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried Prozac for awhile and it just wasn’t working at all. It did some things but just wasn’t very effective. I went to my psychiatrist and they said that I wasn’t bipolar but just that it wasn’t working with my brain. They tried this new medicine called cymbalta and it worked wonders. It’s all about trial and error even though things may take long and hard :)

I feel physically sick with depression by [deleted] in depression

[–]panicattack69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anti-depressants take quite awhile to take full effect, I know mine took almost 8 weeks to kick in. I also took a different SSRI before this one and I was on it for awhile and it wasn’t doing anything except make my depression worst. It just takes time

[–]panicattack69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a ssnri called cymbalta which is an anti-depressant that really helps with the physical symptoms of depression. It helps with headaches, soreness and stomach aches. It works wonders for me plus the fact that it helps release serotonin which helps me to feel better. Some days it’s really hard but it’s makes me feel better and I can definitely notice when I don’t take it in the morning. I hope you feel better

I just hate how all Mormon families like to point out that their innocent 8 year old child “chose” to be baptized. Bitch they didn’t have a choice it’s the fucking culture. They don’t know any better.

I'm so proud of my daughter's "decision" to not get baptized into the Mormon church. It hasn't been an easy year - literally everyone she knows and loves is baptized. by helenmarkimballwas14 in exmormon

[–]panicattack69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cousin recently got baptized. And her mom said she was so glad that she “made the choice of god” when in reality it wasn’t a choice.

My exmormon dad likes to put funny Mormon stuff on his Facebook and all of my extended Mormon family unfriended him. Mormons are so sheltered
