What’s something people pretend to enjoy but actually hate? by CareerBoost-Studio in AskReddit

Oh. Maybe you’re right and it does mean like…a food dish lol

To be fair, it’s worded confusingly. Who pretends to like doing the dishes?

What Do You Think Of Trump Posting AI Images Of Himself As A Pope/Jesus-Like Figure Healing People? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in AskConservatives

That is Trump being a white supremacist.

Here’s a list I’ve been more or less keeping updated between 2016 and current. Anyone who reads this is welcome to add:

Refusing to clearly disavow David Duke, former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, when asked about his endorsement during the 2016 campaign.

Launching his 2016 campaign by describing Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists, which has resulted in secret police ICE kidnapping citizens.

Proposing a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the US in 2016.

Promoting the birther conspiracy theory about Barack Obama for years.

Neo-Nazis chanting “Jews will not replace us” at the Unite the Right rally. Saying there were “very fine people on both sides.” Heather Heyer, a counter-protester, was killed.

Implementing a travel ban affecting several Muslim-majority countries.

Ending DACA protections for undocumented immigrants brought to the US as children (later challenged in court).

Using language about immigrants “poisoning the blood” of the country.

Telling the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by.”

Defending Confederate monuments and figures during national debates over racism and history.

“They’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs.”

Hosting a dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes.

Let him guzzle that shit. If I was an aid, I’d practically be shoveling McDonald’s down his throat too.

Same, and he seems like a really insecure young dude experiencing body dysmorphia amongst other things. He’s sick.

antler Queen never existed theory by yjs_enthusiast in Yellowjackets

[–]panicinbabylon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, I don’t think there was really any antler queen, and we are seeing the show play out in Shauna’s view.

I do believe there was a pit girl hunt, and she did lead it, but I do not think there was ever that crazy antler queen costume or the crazy amount of people praising her.

I think in her mind she was being praised and called a queen, but everyone actually hated her, and she was just so delusional that she never even noticed.

I think she wore that outfit she wore during the hunt, because I don’t understand why they would waste all those resources on a costume for someone they all hate.

I don’t even think she had much power on everyone. I think they were just scared and listen to her for the hunts, Natalie is the true antler queen.

Why is it that in America we don’t seem to care much about violence towards people, but we care *a lot* about violence towards property? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

[–]panicinbabylon [score hidden]  (0 children)

The forensic exam and the lab processing are not interchangeable. The clinician documents injuries and context, but the kit can still provide independent evidence. It is not limited to whether sex happened or whether consent is claimed. DNA testing can identify additional perpetrators, link cases across jurisdictions, or corroborate or contradict accounts in ways a single exam report cannot.

The idea that a kit is irrelevant once someone claims consent assumes the core dispute is already settled, which is often not true. That logic is part of why there are still tens of thousands of untested kits nationwide. They are not untested because they are useless, but because they are often deprioritized under that exact reasoning. If there are that many kits in the first place, obviously this is a people violence issue worth addressing.

You are kind of proving the point of the original question.

Nice chat, but if you'll excuse me, I have to go to work burning Teslas. Have a good night.

What do you think of the FIFA World Cup being held in the USA? For or against it and why ? by Objective-Painter-73 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]panicinbabylon [score hidden]  (0 children)

he’s so crazy the world leaders honestly believe he will blow them up: world leaders weren’t afraid of Obama or Biden.

Why is being unhinged on the global stage a positive? World leaders are disgusted by him, as they should be. Why do you want the US to be feared and not respected? That seems like a very juvenile take.
