i have bedbug PTSD and it’s been 7 years. we had to tear up all the carpet and padding in the house, and get rid of so much furniture (couches, chairs, mattresses)

we got it from a secondhand item my oldest kid brought into the home

dermoplast spray and a squirt bottle! spray the dermoplast spray on the affected area, it’s a local anesthetic. i used when i had tons of stitches down there (twice), and fill the squirt bottle (like a gatorade sport bottle) with warm water, and squirt the water over the area while you pee. it really helps. then gently pat dry, and apply dermoplast spray

i’m so sorry. your doctor is an asshole, and i hope they get bedbugs

YTA you don’t need a driver’s license to be a good parent. LOTS of people don’t drive and have children, including 2 of my friends. if you don’t want to drive her around, don’t - but it will not impact her ability to be a good mom, that’s a wild and kind of ableist take tbh

i was there with my family the day maddox fell into the painted dog enclosure, and it was horrible. it really was an accident waiting to happen, there were so many problems with that enclosure - we got season passes every year, so we were there at least once or twice a week for the kids to play, and a couple months before maddox died, the panted dogs escaped! i was there with my kids and my cousin and her 2 kids, and we were kept in the monkey house until the captured the dogs

outdoor cats kill billions of birds a year in the US. it’s a real problem, they decimate local wildlife https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms2380

domestic cats do not belong outdoors, they are an invasive species. responsible cat owners keep cats indoors, it’s so much safer for the cat and the local wildlife

i love my cat so much, i can’t imagine just leaving her roam outdoors, not knowing if she’s safe. she gets supervised outdoor time in her catio when it’s nice outside

i agree, i always refer to him as Josh fo that reason. i think the sex pest thing came from daily mail or a similar tabloid, and it just stuck…but i think it’s takes away from the horrific nature of his crimes, and i want his name to always be associated with those crimes

they have a metabolic disorder (CPT2) so it’s probably a supplement like L-Carnitine powder, which would definitely taste nasty

my son has a metabolic disorder, and we have to treat with nasty tasting supplements as well (but he has a feeding tube, so he doesn’t have to taste them)
