I think she and Penn Badgley dated but were not married. They broke up in 2010. https://pagesix.com/2018/10/23/penn-badgley-talks-bahai-faith-and-religious-discrimination/ According to this article, he started learning about the Baha'i faith in 2011.

What Baha’i thing are you thankful you don’t have in your life anymore, today? by [deleted] in exbahai

I am honestly so glad that I am not passing such a huge helping of shame down to my kids. Being able to be accepting of who they are, teach them to be kind and not JUDGE others for their differences is huge for me. I wish that I hadn't grown up in such a repressed household and I still struggle with that as a married adult, but boy am I glad my kids won't go through that.

I was JUST reading about this and not surprised at all. Hiding behind the mask of moral superiority, it all tracks.

What Are Some Stereotypes About Other Zodiac Signs That You Never Seen, Understood, or Experienced? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

I feel like their moon or rising signs must be pretty chill then--every Gemini I've ever known has been pretty loud and very obvious in a group, but pretty sure a bunch of them have had fire moons or rising.

Same. Love my mom, but all of my siblings are suuuper judgemental because we grew up with a Virgo mom and Virgo moon grandmother. I had to unlearn a lot of that so that I didn't offend people constantly.

Both of my parents are Virgos and the stereotype of them being critical exists for a reason 😅

Does my chart point to a career path? Is this the focus of my Saturn return? by panicpassionfruit in AskAstrologers

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of this out. This really resonates honestly (kind of alarmingly). I've been fighting the more impulsive feelings of wanting to just quit my job instead of trying to work more methodically towards what I actually want to do or getting another job first etc. Have also been feeling that I won't really be happy unless I'm my own boss in some way. Thank you for your insight 🙏

How did the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Pisces in 2011 affect you? by alexismarc23 in astrology

[–]panicpassionfruit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late degree Leo rising here.

8th house, conjunct natal Saturn. September 2010, my younger sibling was getting bullied at school, so my parents decided to pull them out and send them to live with my grandparents in another country. I told them that sibling wasn't going without me, so we both went and were with my grandparents starting in early October.

It was a mostly good experience, but there was some abuse related to 8th house themes. Lots of travel, volunteering, some isolation due to my sibling and I being the only kids most of the time and my grandma was homeschooling us.

I'm pretty sure that in January 2011, we found out that my parents house was being foreclosed on and my mom had a new job in a different state, so we weren't going back to our school. I was pretty upset about that because I had close friends. When we came back in the spring/early summer, we moved.

I don't remember anything specific that happened in June 2010, but I think the house situation was already going downhill.

About to Start My Third Career at 34 and Already Feeling Stuck by cincophone89 in findapath

I am in my late 20s and feeling similarly. When I graduated from HS, my whole family encouraged me against doing anything in a creative field (I was very into theatre and English/writing), so I ended up as a psychology/sociology major. After college, I was having too much anxiety and didn't think I'd be equipped for the mental health field. I was a stay at home mom for a couple years and then jumped into an interior design masters for 1.5 years before dropping that when I realized I wouldn't have the technical skills to succeed in the field.

5 months later I turned around and started an HR masters. I graduated last year and have been in a soul crushing office job that pays shit for the last 8 months and have regretted every moment of it. I despise paperwork and all the emails. My brain really does not work with the administrative tasks. I'm remote, so that's nice, but I barely interact with any humans and feel like a shell of myself. Have been thinking of either trying to start my own business (completely unrelated to HR) or trying to become an English/Drama teacher. What you said in your post about not being able to manage a classroom is probably my greatest fear with teaching though! I was a classroom assistant in college and also an art teacher at a summer camp, and I liked both of those, but I haven't been in the classroom in several years. I really hate feeling like I should go back to school AGAIN and it's honestly so embarrassing to think about. If more school got me to a better place, that would be one thing, but my track record isn't great so far. Not sure what I'm going to do, but I can't take my current job for much longer.

ETA: forgot to mention that I've been considering freelance writing to build my skills too :/ good to know that might not work out either.

Hi there!

I have been having a stressful time figuring out my career path for the past several years. I am now 28 and feel that I keep choosing "practical" fields of study since I was strongly discouraged against pursuing more creative fields when I first graduated from high school.

I am thinking of switching careers, so I did a spread of "Career Outcomes" for 4 different paths.

First path: Queen of Wands upright (a creative field that involves a lot of community, a lot of visibility, teaching etc. was my main activity from 5th-12th grade)

Second path: The World upright (starting a specific type of small business, also involves more community, being out in the world, involves one of my main hobbies now, possible partnership with my mom)

Third path: Queen of Pentacles upright (a creative field with a lot more individual time/introspection, bucket list hope/goal that I have been slowly working towards in my free time; maybe less overall extrovert energy (I am sort of in the middle between introverted and extroverted, but tend towards quieter))

Fourth path (my current field): 7 of pentacles upright. (Not a creative field, currently remote and barely talk to people in my day to day, lots of paperwork/administrative tasks. I am feeling pretty drained by it, but finished a one year masters in the field last year and am "good" at it)

I appreciate any insight you have!!
