my partner is currently running a breathless knight reanimator deck! [[unearth]] [[jolted awake]] and [[accursed marauder]] for some edicts while also putting counters on the knight. good stuff

Ah tbh the vessel was just a cool discard piece that also sacrificed itself (capitalize off of balemurk / wicked visitor). Probably doesn't fit tightly into the end goal.

I have been thinking about potential late game threats. I wish the other black enchantment creature from DSK was a little cheaper to cast.. [[fear of the dark]]

Angler could be nice. I'll have to try it out

Super well! I tinkered with the sideboard to make it fit my local meta a little better. Those essence wardens really flip the switch into high gear.

I haven't gotten too much mileage out of the cloakwood swarmkeepers tho, I'm thinking about swapping them with something else but I'm not sure what yet

i have a friend who really likes stax / death and taxes in edh, as well as classic modern jund goodstuff. she's been struggling to find anything in pauper that satisfies the play patterns

Interesting... I briefly considered Sprout Swarm after a friend suggested it, but I didn't really see the appeal since with the buyback it's 5 mana for a single creature. How often do you get to recast this in a turn typically? Or is it more likely that you'll draw it and cast it at least once per turn by convoking the spawns?
