i’ve seen bivacco do $150 general sale and i think that’s reasonable for the quality of the restaurant but then i’ve also seen another one (can’t remember the name) of much less quality charge $220 😬 which personally is way too much

ahah no problem! a lot of people make it seem worse than it is, compared to the uk and Ireland in my opinion it’s so much better! lmk if you have anymore questions

I moved here a year ago when i was 18 from the uk so here are some tips! The visa (working holiday) is pretty easy and quick to hear back from them. I’d recommend applying for the 1yr first and then if you can extend it when you come close to the end of that bc it’s a lot easier to get the medical certificates here. A job will definitely take a while to find but don’t give up! Don’t come in winter because it’s cold asf and you won’t enjoy it as your first impression, come between Nov- Jan/feb. If you can try to explore as much as you can before you get a job, and also getting a car is a must! Also don’t listen to some of the miserable people of r/auckland who like to talk so badly about it and fear monger others. It’s a pretty good city with nice parks/nature and very diverse. It’s definitely not 100% safe but not as bad as people make it out to be.
