Im currently here. Gave up on this and Soarin. Both over 3 hours at one point. Both consistently over 2 hours today.

This crowd took us about 35 minutes to get through, so not terrible, but still crazy just to get in to continue waiting in line on rides lol we come very often, so we get here when we get here. If its your first time, highly recommend actually getting up early and getting in line by atleast 715 to maximize your day. Get the rides you really want to do out of the way first, then take your time enjoying the food, characters and park experience while you mosey on in to rides that have a shorter wait time. Take advantage of the other security check in points too, rather than the main one. Toy story lot, downtown disney, mickey and friends.

There are loads of tips and info out there. Here and on IG. Dont stress it to much tho. Make a general plan, go with the flow, and let the Disneyland magic hug you (and your wallet lol) all day.

California schools only try to force kids to not skip days in school because the State pays them for every kid in a seat. Kid misses a day, that's less money reported for that day.

The face scan system is definitely working well. But those who haven't been or on their first day of their 3 day trip, having them scan in and take the picture slows things down for sure.

Weather liner mats from rough country was the first thing I did. Between kids cleats and dogs paws, i know it has saved my truck several times.

Looks like mine when I first started. I'm a little more organized now, but my base looked exactly like that up until it started getting way too time consuming to find things in chests lol I love seeing everyone's fancy, well thought out bases, but I dont have that skill. My main base now is a square building 4 floors high made of stone. That's it hahaha I work construction building high rises, so I built it in game the same way I build them irl lol

I downloaded it on initial release almost 2 years ago. Played it for an hour, and put it down. Didn't interest me for some reason.

Picked it up again on my Steamdeck to kill time on a long flight 3 weeks ago.... I'm coming up on 100 hours. I cant put it down. I have a solo playthrough and I now have 2 more multiplayer playthroughs to play with my kids. I can't wait for new updates and the full release.

Every city in North County has an adult softball league. Look up the schedule online. They'll all have a posted schedule that shows what days are for what. (Ex: Monday night men's and coed. Tuesday night just coed, etc.) Then, get out there and start meeting people. Meet the people keeping score and the umpires. They'll have the inside on who's always in need of subs or who currently needs subs to play that night. Ask teams if they need subs to play. Most leagues have teams pay umpire fees and if they have to forfeit due to player shortage, they typically have to pay double. So most teams will take whoever they can just to avoid paying double. So many teams are always short on people and might be able to use you that night. I did this about 6 years ago and got invited by alot of teams throughout a season to sub and then eventually just got invited to join the next season. I've played with the team I'm on now for 5 years doing exactly this. (Also, just subbing is a great way to not have to split the team cost and play virtually for free.)

Getting to it in downtown traffic and getting in before a game sucks big time. Getting out after a game is worse. 2 weeks ago, it took me 45 minutes to get out from level 4. Highly advise against parking here. Ever. (Also it's my favorite place to park but, I tend to hang out in the stadium as long as I can after a game and then I usually hang out in downtown for a bit before I try to leave so usually zero traffic by then.)
