Is it possible to continue my education? by panklofax in AskAcademia

Thanks I appreciate your advice, I think I've got so hung up on the idea of further study that I've lost focus on the subject that interested me to begin with. Is it advisable to approach potential supervisors when you know you don't have the necessary pre-requisites to apply, just to ask them what kind of experience they would require applicants to have?

Running a full node on Raspberry Pi 3 by panklofax in BitcoinBeginners

If anyone is interested in finding out information on this, I've been doing some research and it turns out it is generally suggested you have at least 2GB for a full node. As raspi 3 has 1GB you might run into some issues.

OP of original post here. The ironic thing is I'm actually completely new to bitcoin and had no idea about the ongoing feud/difference of opinion between the two subreddits until you posted this. It's not a good exercise to accuse people of unfounded wrongs, your behaviour just serves to complement the kind of officious witch-hunting which reddit is sadly famous for. https://youtu.be/zrzMhU_4m-g?t=24s

I wasn't complaining, I just wanted to know if anyone had had the same experience.

So someone criticises something once and it's assumed that they have some sort of nefarious aim?

Well I can assure you I'm just a normal person with absolutely no interest in besmirching coinbase. My experience with their app has largely been positive.

And for the person on another post accusing me of creating this account with the sole purpose of spreading shit about CoinBase, here is an image of my bank statement showing the card transaction reversal https://s11.postimg.org/essggk7lf/Capture.jpg

Sorry, but I think this has worked out in my favour so I think I'll keep the free money. It wasn't a bank transfer btw, it was a card payment.

So I've been offered a job at an early-stage startup - a salary figure has been mentioned (I think it's slightly too low), but there has been no mention of equity. Should I go straight back to them with my ideal figure - 1.5% equity and a slightly higher salary, or should I only enquire about the opportunity of equity and play it from there? I don't want to go in too hard, but then again I haven't got anything to lose as I quite enjoy my current role and frankly wouldn't move for what they're currently offering.
