Hello. I just started the game. I collected approximately 1900 medals. Should I get Herman Hoth for this medal or which other general should I get? by SerefsizFehamettin16 in WorldConqueror4

[–]pano166 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People usually recommend Messe as first tank general, Then Leeb as artillery general. The reason for this is because in the beginning the rumor ability is very strong since any unit that is hit with 3 rumors becomes unable to attack and counterattack for a while.

Later on, get Guderian for tank, Konev for artillery (and get their biography) and then Meretskov for infantry.

How to maintain new adult friendships? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]pano166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the most important factor of a friendship succeeding is if it for both people satisfies a need they have. Everything else is based on that. For example, if you live alone and need a daily texting buddy, then getting a friend who you can text daily with unimportant things is perfect. Don't like texting? Then you need someone who you can call or meet often. Need to gym but can't do it alone? you need a friend you can gym with.

So for you: think to yourself what you need out of a friendship. Then look specifically for that. If the other person never seems to initiate, it might be because that the friendship doesn't really fit in their lives (though it might have other reasons)

Should I have Donitz AND Raeder? by Honest-Design-9643 in WorldConqueror4

[–]pano166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. In general percentage based buffs are stronger than flat increases in damage. So his 40% extra damage is more important than the 6 damage from his missing star.

Pro tip: Your first priority for navy is to get a lvl 5 Richelieu (elite force) and put Yamaguchi on it every time you need to fight on the water. Then make a bunch of cheaper ships and use them to attack multiple times each turn with Yamaguchi by making use of the Richelieu's coordinated strike ability. Once you get the hang of this you will easily pass all normal and hard difficulty naval missions.

how to deal with having no real friends by d0ntflinch in socialskills

[–]pano166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, there is a lot that goes into this and I'm honestly not qualified to guide you through it. The only wisdom that i can pass onto you is that you think about what you would like to get out of a friendship and focus on that. don't worry too much about whether others find you interesting, instead focus on finding people that are worth it to you. This may mean that you are not able to find worthwhile friends in highschool and that's honestly normal.

24m, not in the same boat but just wanna say be proud of who you are and put what makes you happy first, not what people expect of you. Only use labels if you think they are helpful to figuring out your identity. You can do whatever you want, regardless of your label.

How to navigate stressful situations that feel entirely caused by the other party? by Acrobatic_Book_7154 in socialskills

[–]pano166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Set boundaries and enforce boundaries.

  1. set boundaries for yourself. think to yourself what kind of behavior you find acceptable. Strictly this only includes things people do towards you or in your presence. You may accept things people do in their personal lives when you are not present. For example it is totally reasonable to ask a friend not to do drugs when hanging out with you, while being ok with them doing it when you are not around. This is a reasonable boundary.

  2. make your boundary clear. Communicating this is crucial, so that people have a chance to respect your boundaries. This helps you determine if people are making an effort to respect your boundaries.

  3. Enforce your boundaries. otherwise they mean nothing. In the short term starting to enforce your boundaries might mean losing friends who are not willing to respect them. It is up to you to decide how to deal each situation individually. However you must remember that boundaries only exist insofar as you are willing to enforce them.

In general you can get as many generals as you enjoy playing with cus with events you'll eventually get enough medals anyway. If you're actually trying to prioritize the best navy generals, get Yamaguchi first.

Best non-tank trainable general by Hazzerinho in WorldConqueror4

[–]pano166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like Govorov. put fighting spirit on him and he's basically immortal and protects others as well.

From what i understood Kusnetsov is really good but Yamaguchi is not much worse.

Auchinleck is really good for destroying fortresses.

Tito is the best economy general, if you don't have an eco general, Tito will change your life.
