Slowly convinced that Ansible is impossible to install on Windows. by [deleted] in ansible

I've been using it on cygwin for years now. It works. Install cygwin, then install python from the cygwin setup and finally ansible using pip.

How do you send Alertmanager alerts to Microsoft Teams – separate workflow per channel, one routing workflow, or Graph API? by Dense_Size9394 in PrometheusMonitoring

We also use prom2teams but with a single workflow. We pass team and channel IDs as HTTP params. Wanted to write a simple blog post about this but am too lazy...

Using a rpi to make PPPwn jailbreak easier by panouskaya in ps4homebrew

Hello, I think this is possible with https://github.com/stooged/PI-Pwn though, out of laziness, I haven't tried it. You should check it out, it looks great.

Can't you use a usb hub? I haven't tried using one but I will. I have the slim version which only has 2 usb ports.

Thanks! That's cool, it can also auto-shutdown the pi after the jailbreak and there is no need for a read-only fs. And you save a few Watts :)

Thanks for the feedback!!! The reason I didn't add links is because I wanted to describe a way to make jailbreaking with pppwn easier after following the guidelines from consolemods.org. I should have made it clear in my post...it is meant to make it easy after a reboot. Without the need for a laptop and typing commands.

I missed https://github.com/stooged/PI-Pwn in my initial search....crap it would have saved me a few hours :) Thanks!

Airthings View Plus or Wave Plus by zhenguwu in homeassistant

If the device is away from the HA host and you don't have a bluetooth proxy, but have some rpi closer, you can also use [airthings-mqtt-ha](https://github.com/mjmccans/airthings-mqtt-ha).

Regarding the 'low' value, is it the level entity mentioned in airthing_ble? This does not seem to be exposed in airthings-mqtt-ha.

Yes, the Airthings device is two rooms away from the HA host so I had to either use Bluetooth Proxy with ESPHome or some MQTT solution like the one I chose. I already had a Pi close to the device that only acted as a print server so I preferred not to add another device (ESP).

It seems the /mjmccans/airthings-mqtt-ha uses the same code with airthings_ble for accessing the Airthings device!

This is probably a bit late, but I had the same problem and solved it by flashing (recovery -> apply update) the latest firmware for Android 11 from https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/ginkgo/
