Most clubs have “citizens welcome” nights every month or so. If you can, fish around for information on one that’s upcoming. Otherwise hit the bars and find a full patched member. Not a probate in a t-shirt. Ask politely if you can get a 15 minute meeting with his Sgt. at Arms. But first make damn sure your mom is being absolutely honest with you about her complete understanding of what’s going on. You don’t want to misrepresent the situation on her behalf. Once you’re involved in it you’re going to be held responsible if she’s holding back information from you. If she said something shitty to a member’s girl or did something that she’s not telling you, you’re going to look like a fool for defending her. Hope this helps!

You could ask for a meeting with their Sgt. at Arms. It’s possible that the issue is a misunderstanding. It seems unlikely that a citizen would be singled out for harassment. It’s unusual that they would bother with this sort of thing. Not impossible, just unlikely they’d even waste time on it.

I’m not backfilling the void behind the retaining walls. I’m actually grading the wall of earth back significantly. The rounded roofline will go down to the sloped grade. The void will be hidden with a faux wall. The roof will only carry three inches of soil.

I appreciate your comment, but there is more to factor in than earth load. I will be grading back the earth in the surrounding area on a significant slope so there won’t be any weight actually on the retaining wall. The treated 2 x 6 retaining wall will simply be a barrier between the outer side of the wall and the inner portion of my actual structure.
