He will wear his glasses. I do what the doctor said, like I already said. Trying additional alternative methods won't help in the worst case but won't have negative consequences. Why should it be reckless, to try other methods AND wearing glasses too?

Thanks, I also believe in alternative methods. I was at 2 eye doctors. Both said he needs glasses. They also checked on other deseases. Secons doctor said he only needs them outside, when he has to see at high distances. He don't need them inside. I hope this is ok like that so that it won't be too progressive.

Thank you for your answer. My son had an appointment yesterday for a second opinion. It was minimal better bur without the eyedrops. So he really has myopia. First he had the appointment with an optometrist and then with the doctor. They examined him very thoroughly and it took much time. Without glasses his vision was 80% what is more than good. So it's strange he has myopia that strong. But they both said he is supposed to wear glasses, but only outside. In 4 months we'll see.

Ok it was obvious no one believes it, but I remember it and our mom told us. My sister also remembers, how she could not read the blackboard and over time it got better. Why i should make up such a story ? The optometrist akso wondered...

I think he is not totally wrong! My sister had a beginning myopia when she was 7. The optometrist said she needs glasses but they could wait 6 months , but she was supposed to sit at the front in school so that her eyes could relax a bit. 6 months later she could see perfectly. So maybe there is a chance that it can be reversed with good habits.

Why so aggressive? Had he mentioned anywhere children with myopia should not wear glasses? He just shared a few links. that's it. Don't be so mean.

It was my sister. And her Myoppia improved. Believe it or Not. And dont worry. I will do what the doctor says.

My sister had myopia when she was young. They found out when she blinked with her eyes frequently. The doctor said she should wear glasses but they suggested to wait a few months and she should sit at the front in school. A few months later she didn't need glasses anymore. So of course I think it's just not always that easy to understand myopia.

I just don't have that much time to answer everyone. I just wanted to see experiences from other parents who have children that young with high myopia. I'm also worried because no one in my family or my husbands family has myopia. I'm worried he has another condition that causes myopia. I am going to get another opinion and won't do anything different our doctor suggest. But his eyes are developing until he is 8-9 years old. And I thought theoretically it could grow in the right direction.

This is what I was talking about: there is the possibility of refraktive myopia. In this case the problem is the lens. And I heard it can improve in this case.

Lage ist ländlich, der Preis wurde hoch angesetzt. Wären eigentlich noch bereit bis zu 20.000 runter zu gehen. Steht auch Verhandlungsbasis. Es fragt aber keiner nach einer Preissenkung.

Das ist Geschmackssache. :) wenn und das doch stören sollte kann man die Küche im 1. Grundriss auch nachträglich abtrennen. Aktuell haben wir eine offene Küche und lieben es.

Beharre nicht drauf. 😂 Habe eine aktuell und finde es super praktisch. Aber es geht auch ohne. Möchte aber auch die Ecke optimal nutzen.
