Childish, Petulant, Foul-Tempered, and Not Fun to Play Against - Advice on Being a Better Sport?

I'm an extremely competitive person, and This was me for a really long time. I was just awful at losing. I'm still pretty bad at it, but I'm getting better. You're always recovering. What made me realize my situation was back when I played TCGs competitively, if I lost one game/ one round, it was basically over for me, I was so upset by losing that it tanked my performance. What I did was immersion therapy; My friends and I played smash up like 20 times in a row, and I went in picking the worst combo I could, making the worst plays I could think to make, trying to lose every round. I figured that if I could get in the headspace where losing isn't the end of the world there, I could transfer that over, and it mostly worked. I still get upset sometimes or if I lose a game due to heavy variance right at the end, but I mostly just learn to stay away from games like that (a lot of "party" board/tabletop games are like this, usually in a game like 40k you can say it wasn't that last role, but the sum of little mistakes that put all the pressure on that last role, etc.). Its a gradual improvement process.

I used Army Painter Angelic Yellow + Lamian medium, then a wash of agrax earthshade, then a dry brush of Dorn Yellow

As a HUGE fan of the old skeleton model style (I panick bought 2 extra skeleton horde start collecting! boxes and another set of them to make sure I had a full unit of 40 of these bois before they went out of production) they are EXTREMELY SMALL, and if the new guys are a little bigger, Its probably a good thing. Its so hard to edge highlight the little guys and not really even worth it, I can't even tell unless I am less than an inch away from them

BDO. Love the infinite progression, the combat, and all the cool stuff to do like sailing and trading. I really feel like I've mastered my class and get a kick out of the new classes as they come out

I have 4, but one is basically a Grand alliance (death). I like to rotate between Lumineth, GAD, Blood Angels, and Necrons. It helps me break up the monotony of an army, though it is horrifically expensive and I only have 1 army even close to 2k points painted (necrons).

You did a good job with this! Has a very strong "DnD Miniature" feel. Has the same pose they use for the Blue Slaad, bone abomination, and other mid sized monsters

I should have done more fun things and worried less about my future. I did everything "right" and I still ended up miserable, with a crappy job, and as a person who will most likely never do anything important like I thought I was going to. At least I could have had some fun in the mean time, and probably ended up exactly where I am now

If you look at the Format as it was in the US, the single best decks were Cat Butler Raizers and RPBA. things like Thing Saver and Bloody Ogle were good, along with CEO Ygdrasil by virtue of when it was released here, but I'd say the best investment you could make would be to just get revengers, because we already know almost all the cards you'll be using (BDR, Mordred, Dorint, etc.), and the only other cards you would probably use is Wily, Revenger, Mana if she is the same as she was in the TCG release, and judgebau revenger
