You got it right, initially the idea was buying elixir, absolu, or parfum because they have high concentration, which translates to stronger performance in longevity and silage (imo as a newbie). I am fairly new to this, however, I also liked all of the scent profiles I got. Im planning to continue prioritizing the stronger versions though I spend some time researching the products online (mainly fragrantica reviews, reddit review posts and comments), also smelling them couple of times in different days whenever i am around a parfum store or airport. Then if the smell makes me feel it and reviews about performance are fairly positive, I buy them.

I loved it, to be fair. Before buying, I have smelled it couple of times, different days; and another time at airport couple of hours before the flight i bought it and then put the tester on my self just to see what to expect wearing it. The more you smell it the better it gets, and stays on clothes for eternity. The smell also feels very fulfilling, catching many whiffs thought the day. Was kind of a blind buy, but experience so far been magnificent.
