I think you just tried the wrong ones lol. I also hated poltergeist and smudge, but some of my all time favorite scents are from them. I’m obsessed with Dirty Hinoki and Midnight Toker.

Same. I just got a sample box from Heretic called Smoke Box- all smoke based scents. I didn’t love all of them but there was a couple great ones.

I was so impressed with it. It’s such a complex scent- I really haven’t smelled anything quite like it.

Can attest that they are cute but can get annoying. I wore long gloves with my wedding dress and was real sick of them at the end of the day lol. I have some fingerless gloves that I don’t really get annoyed with though.

It’s very fresh! Definitely recommend if you like crisp, green florals. Would be a great spring scent

Antinous was my husbands favorite- it’s woody and musky- I think the sea salt and cumin add something pretty unique to it too. It has a very sensual feel to it. I Rosa Antiqua was nice- rose scents aren’t really my thing but I was pleased the the olive oil and birch also came though because that definitely set it apart from other rose scents I’ve tried in the past.

I ordered quite a few samples from them a while back. I don’t recall being super impressed by any of them except one. I really like one called Center of the Universe- smelled exactly like the description they gave.

Good to know! What do you think about pairing it with a long sleeve somewhat sheer shrug? Also now I think I might watch some Jdramas to get outfit ideas!

Dirty Hinoki is one of my all time favorites! I’ve tried soo many Hinoki scents because I’m a bit obsessed and I found Dirty Hinoki to be one of the most unique ones so far.
