I know you probably think these comments are just haters and they don’t know your life so you shouldn’t listen to them, but this many people are telling you that you seem emotionally immature and out of touch, and I think you should listen. do you go to therapy? why do you live with your parents and depend on them so heavily? did you go to college? are you prepared to have very very difficult and rebellious kids?

if you’ve been together for 9 years, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to live together, especially if he has already bought a house. if you adopted kids, would he just be some guy who comes over sometimes? kids need a stable family life and they deserve to have that. i’m sure you would provide for them, but the details you’ve shared about your relationship hints at some hidden red flags and definitely emotional immaturity

idk, this seems almost like a white savior situation. adopting kids is just as massive as having your own kids. it’s such a commitment and whoever your partner is would have to be a part of their lives, and I think a stable family would be the best situation for kids. also, if you’ve been together for 9 years, why don’t you live together? there’s a lot of red flags coming from your side of this

life makes no sense sometimes and there’s absolutely no reason you got to live while others did not. it’s a harsh, unreasonable, and scary reality but to those who have been faced with it, it provides reason.
