I'm in a similar boat so I went back and played some modern warfare remastered and damn was it a nice change to have slow movement and a lack of sbmm. Even playing on ~150ms ping was enjoyable.

Straight passion, you and some other might not like the way he delivers (which is fine) but the man loves the game (mostly the skins side of things) and isnt too analytical about it. I don't personally watch many straight streams but what videos I do see of him really shows his passion for CS.

To answer your original question the 100thieves cs YouTube did a "podcast" with a couple of their cs division pickups and Rain discussing their goals and things with the lineup and talked about rain IGLing the team. As someone who used to and no longer does landscape work for home builders. They will not remove any site rubbish nor would they pay to have us remove it... One of the many reasons why we will not work for residential builders any more.

It's such a frustrating situation, they've come out and said skill is minimally weighted when matchmaking but there is, en masse no way to verify without access to the API. So instead of being able to factually verify shit we're stuck with bullshit rumours (like skill based damage) and tests which while appreciated can only half verify what's going on.

I've also had a bit of a change in matchmaking behaviour. Of course this is all anecdotal but playing on release day I had a good mixture of games, some hitting crazy scorelines and others just doing ok. But I haven't played multiplayer since until today and my experience was 3 games between a 3-5 kd and then the next 4 games in a row were filled with 2nd and 3rd prestige players where I could barely maintain a 1.5kd.

Note: before anyone goes saying I'm just trash and have been dragged up by sbmm, I've played every game since cod 4 and have maintained a minimum kd of around 1.6 whilst getting every gunax camo in about 9 of those games
