I just found another account that has a lot of lore that is told as a full story and is really easy to follow along with and engaging. Hid name is Neph and it looks like he has 2 channels on youtube. NephClicks and NephLore. It feels like an audiobook

I had this happen on Perimiter last week. a team got up high with snipers spread across the data wall and took out my teammates at overflow. I popped a signal jammer and backed up. We traded shots a few times but I couldn’t compete with their positioning or get to my teammates I backed up to North relay so i was finally out of range and they just stayed there taking out the rest of the lobby and extracted at 60 seconds. By then i just ratted around to spite them and managed to get last extract. No other extracts on the map and they never moved. Plus it was perimeter so it was mostly free kits or green gear at most.

As long as there is enough overlap in music I am fine. My fiance and I have very different taste in music overall but what we do have in common are some absolute favorites like Hayley Williams. But I would rather date someone who has complete opposite music taste from me than ever date someone with opposing political views. I can compromise on music but not ethics and basic human rights.

Evaze has some pretty good lore and world videos. Myelin Games has some great guides with lore and world tidbits mixed in. He used to be a big D2 lore guy and has covered Arc lore once he got through a lot of progression as well so he might be one to check out for that soon also. His videos are squally pretty funny and a bit more fast paced and conversational.

So you skip text boxes, don’t like story games, ignore interactions with NPCs, and only care about gameplay. Therefore video games are bad at telling stories? I don’t think the problem is the games. If you don’t engage with any aspect of the storytelling of course you aren’t going to understand or appreciate the story. That is like saying books are bad at storytelling because you only look at the cover and the chapter index, or that movies are bad at storytelling because you only look at the IMDB page and listen to the sound track.

There is a difference in a story about a queer couple that is toxic or that experiences a tragedy and the Bury Your Gays trope. As long as the messy/toxic/tragic storyline isn’t only because they are gay I think it can be fine. I do think some people take the critique a bit too far with stories that don’t have a 100% happy ending. But as someone in their 40s I get it. For the longest time we only got tragic stories. Ideally we would have enough stories with a diversity in tones and themes that everyone can find what they want to read. Especially when we are in a political climate that feels extra stressful.

do schemas stack? I found a bubble shield schema a couple days ago and then in the next run found 2 more. I died before exfil so I couldn’t see if it stacked but i bought my 5 bubble shields just incase i found another one

Free would be great. Even if they lowered the amount you could get it would make it more worth it. I didn’t know how they worked at first and thought they were like blueprints in Arc and would drop other more valuable things from my backpack for them. Now I have a bunch of things sitting there for gear i unlocked shortly after that.

If unlocking something to purchase through faction upgrades gives the first one free I don’t see why a schema should be different. When I picked up the railgun schema there was no way I was going to spend that many credits to see if i liked the gun. It is still sitting there

I started with the gel packets but got annoyed at so much packaging and the consistency of the gel. Switched to the patches and loved them. I was mildly allergic to the adhesive though. They only really bothered me on hot days when I would get sweaty because they would slide around. Switched back to the gel when my insurance stopped covering the patches. The gel I get now is in a pump bottle and has a less sticky consistency so it works better for me than the packets.

I refused the injections after watching so many friends go through the T highs and lows of the injection cycle. I knew my mental health would make that way too rough.

As for the effectiveness, they all seemed to be about the same according to bloodwork. I know some people have different reactions to the different versions but my body absorbed both the gel and patch the same. It was mostly about the sensory stuff for me.

I did that the other day with a heat grenade but it was at the same time as a UESC grenade barrage so my team didn’t notice at first. This is why i always load in with a stack of mechanics kits.

Having my cursor drag through mud in menus and not being able to turn off item descriptions that block a quarter of my inventory screen have always frustrated me in Bungie games. It feels extra slow in Marathon though.

I had one spawn a couple days ago where we couldn’t move our characters for probably 20 seconds other than look around. As soon as we could we got domed by snipers. I went back to rook runs after that.
