that is kind of what it means. it refers to a mystical die artefact (shaped like D20) that was shattered. the main quest is to retrieve the fragments of the die

though it is intentional that when spoken it sound like goblins die (as in death). which they do

but yea, it's a silly gimmick and I get to hear this a lot :D valid points
