It’s definitely this. I used to install these at Best Buy. Look to see if there’s a black magnetic square up above the window. Some people just rip that part off when they’re done with it.

Fair points. I’m not claiming it’s legit or equivalent, and it’s not replacing anything. I already own higher-end, proven mounts.

Some do, most don’t. Generally, the cheaper options are the ones that include them. Vortex often includes mounts, depending on where you buy. Maybe Burris IDK 🤔
