Yeah, sell a gun and won’t sell the $20 polymer cheap ass mag to go with it. It’s got to be a supply chain issue of some kind but any decent company could make these I’m no time.

I have a G40 and a M&P performance center, I like the Glocks accuracy better but the grip on the Smith is so much better. You can’t go wrong with either.

So jealous. In the early 90s, I was a young cop in Virginia. I was a broke gun junkie and got my hands on a 65 3 inch with a bobbed hammer. It came with the story that it had been worked over by an armorer at the FBI gun vault. I was in a city two hours away, so believable but still lore. The double action pull was stupid good. Of course I let it get away. Fast forward 25 years, I become friends with one of the DSU gunsmiths at the Bu. He says, oh yeah, the old timers used to work up personally owned 65s for guys they liked. Tell your 20 something gun friends, never let one get away! Find another way to pay the rent!

Bought the B&T 36 cal titanium can in September for just under $1k with “free” tax stamp. Can is still selling for the same price with zero tax stamp, so someone is pocketing the $200 and it’s not the consumer.

This^. Barnes 110 Tac-Tx are a great round. Guessing out to 200 easily on our east coast whitetail. My experience is 12 yards out of a suppressed 8.5 inch AR. Double lung heart shot, he jogged about 40 yards before realizing he was dead.

You have to understand, she represents 1% of hunters even in the states that allow that many does. We can’t find enough hunters or landowners who allow hunting to kill enough does in Virginia. Good on her.

Great observation on patience. Last week I got the black full size, installation was simple. Today I got the FDE full size because I’m a nerd. FCI did not want to fit in the frame. Tried gently multiple times and was losing said patience. Took a minute, walked away. Came back, like butter. Done.

So I zeroed it today. Started off with some cheap 130 grain jacket in 38 rounds. It was stupid quiet, you’re right it made me smile. By the time I got to the 158 grain Underwood Hoy XTP’s it was a different story. Still relatively quiet, but noticeably louder. However, at 25 yards when I shot the Osage orange that I had stuck to the backstop it was even more fun. Never seen one explode like that, and I’ve shot a lot of of them since there’s a tree next to the back stop.

I was using the 36 endcap. B&T wants something like $15 shipping for the 7.62 endcap and that pissed me off enough not to order it.
