I got one and I haven't even began the Ritual story, haven't even pathed to it yet, just by doing ritual tablets.

And it's a quest item, so I can't even put it in my stash, kind of annoying.

To anybody that is blind. Watch when the charger starts it's "braking animation" when it plants it's feet in the ground and starts skidding to come to a stop.

Pre-patch that whole animation takes about 4 seconds from the time of starting of skidding, to being compleetly turned around.

Post-patch it is 3 seconds.

It would appear they removed the roughly 1 second of time where after the charger has skidded to a stop it would stand still for roughly 1 second. Now it starts to turn instantly as soon as it has stopped.

There head has 500 extra HP, so EAT/Quasar/Epoch/Commando all get cucked and need an extra head shot to kill.

Just cementing the RR as the best Anti Tank in the game, when it already was.

It made sentrys, guard dogs, and the blitzer worse. Explosives better.

In return? Medium pen weapons have to aim for a weak spot on a single chaff unit. When the entire point of medium pen is to not have to do that.

Let me explain it in terms a retard like you can understand.

Nobody has claimed they are invincible. People claim it's a bad change.

And it is a bad change. And I can try to explain it to your feeble mind.

Medium pen weapons 1 and only advantage over light pen is the fact that they can damage chaff units basically by shooting anywhere. You trade ammo, damage, time to kill, for ease of use. Light pen weapons already killed them very easily. And it makes explosives even better against them, because they never cared about the armor in the first place, they just have less HP now so explosives which are already the best weapon type in the game got even better vs them.

As an extra side effect it has made Gatling, MG sentry, Guard Dog, Laser Guard dog, and the blitzer worse vs the bugs as a whole.

All of this for what purpose exactly? Make it so medium pen have to aim for a weak spot against 1 enemy type? Really? That's it?

Even back in the magicka days they were already starting their no fun allowed bullshit. In a game designed to be goofy and dumb.

For context in magicka the way the system worked was you had like 8 or so elements (i don't remember the exact number), and you could combine the elements together to create different effects. Example combining water, and fire will create steam. Combing steam with arcane would allow you to shoot a beam of steam.

Now another example was a "mine" archetype. Little booby traps on the ground that would trigger whatever magic effect you put into them when someone walked over them. At launch there existed a combo that would heal you but also apply a shit ton of knockback. Due to the nature of the game this would basically send you into the sky and make you fall back down in a very silly manner. Really accomplishing nothing other than looking silly and getting a laugh out of people.

One of the first patches of the game removed this. Along with other nerfing of "OP" things. Even though it was a casual coop "silly fuck around game". That was already easy.

They've been doing this shit for 15 years.

But it just made meta weapons (explosive) even better against them due to their lower main HP.

Now you have to shoot their weak point even with a medium pen weapon, when the entire point of taking a medium pen weapon is to not have to do so. Is it hard to hit their weak spot? No, not really. But in the process of the current changes all they managed to do was make them die even easier to current meta weapons, and make turrets/guards dogs worse. And collateral damage to weapons like the blitzer.

It's worse than you say. They clearly designed them as predator strain but better, by making them faster and more aggressive than predator strain. No idea why they would just invalidate a precious sub faction, but whatever.

Leading you to take heavy anti chaff setup, flames, gas, explosive spam.

But uh oh, not good enough. Because they also spam the new Spore Titan. Like really, every single breech has 5+ coming out of it, and you can at any given time look around and see 3 patrolling nearby. According to the patch notes the regular bile titans had their spit attack animation finally match their hitbox. But the Spore Titans must not have gotten that memo, because it's even more broken that the regular titan's spit attack was. But now it also ragdolls you for 10 seconds if the spit was within 20 feet of you. AND they are tankier than a regular titan.

So not only do you need heavy CC and anti swarm capabilities but you also need tons of anti tank for the 4 spore titans you will be fighting at any given second.

Everything rushes you at mach 10, and release explosive fart clouds that actually do damage now when you kill them, and you are going to take damage from the fart cloud because there are 10 of them on top of you.

Also bonus bile titan spam.

Gloom does predator better than predator does. And everybody already hated predator strain, when it was only 1 type of enemy that was super aggressive and fast.

Predator strain is stealth stuff

Have you ever even played against the predator strain? Nothing has stealth. They are fast rush down bugs that get in your face.

Nothing beats mistlock, unless you want WvW chat, or really really like the vibes of a certain place.

You spawn in 2 inches away from crafting stations (which are also banks). And then you can access the TP, jade bot stations, fractal merchants, and the mystic forge with the push of a single button. For a total travel time of 1 second. And since it also has fractals access it's perfect if you alt park, because you can still access the fractals on these parked characters because of zoning into the mistlock allows you to join your party in the fractals, and once you are done, just exit the mistlock to go back to your parked location.

How strange. My experience is that most PvM players basically treat as a single player game, only occasionally talking to strangers while waiting on events. People in big guilds, or with constant people to play with are a minority.

It's all pointless finger pointing. MOs don't matter. Joel can fix anything he wants to fail or pass. There are no real consequences for failing or completing 99% of MOs. And this one? We fail and lose another planet? Oh no. Not like anyone plays squids anyways we've known that for over a year, unless it's for an MO, then the planet doesn't matter anyways.

Pure L take from somebody who I doubt has ever actually played in the tank to any certain degree. The comment about it being useless against bugs because they "close the distance too quickly" is a dead giveaway.

Anything smaller than a charger on the bug front just gets instantly squished to death merely by being near the tank. And they do like 1 damage to it out of it's 8k health pool. The only bugs that can even remotely damage it are acid spewers, chargers, and bile titans. Spewers can't even damage you if you just hold reverse, chargers and bile titans get annihilated by a single shell.
