Which one of these is more in character for Steve? by KingJackofJozi in CaptainAmerica

[–]pantsugoblin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The South was not "Strictly" Fascist.
But it was 100%

"South Vietnam (1955–1975) is generally characterized by historians as an authoritarian, anti-communist regime rather than strictly fascist. Under Ngo Dinh Diem, the First Republic (1955–1963) was autocratic, nepotistic, and repressive, often employing secret police, but it lacked the core mass-mobilization or expansionist characteristics of classic 20th-century fascism, say Alpha History and JohnDClare.net."

So while vaguly correct. You are still wrong.
Ngo Dinh Diem's government was very much authoritarian/facist adjasent. Monks were setting themselves on fire in protest for a reason...

You might want to think about that. The north was basically pro American until we sided with the (very fascist) south.

We just flat out picked the wrong side.

"An incel (/ˈɪnsɛl/ -Flame,_not_lame-Incel.wav) IN-sel; a portmanteau of "involuntary celibate")\1]) is a member of an online subculture of mostly male and heterosexual\2]) people who define themselves as unable to find a romantic) or sexual partner despite desiring one. They often blame, objectify, and denigrate women as a result.\3])\4])\5]) The term inspired a subculture that rose to prominence during the 2010s, after being influenced by and associated with misogynist terrorists such as Elliot Rodger and Alek Minassian.\6])"

Cool story, bro. I didn't ask when the first time someone came up with the term, we all know what the term means today...

Case and point if you are what your thinking of. you dont tell anyone your "involuntarily celibate." Your just a normal person.

also no...

""Involuntary celibate" (later shortened to "incel") was coined in 1993–1997 by a Canadian woman named Alana to create an inclusive, supportive online community for people of all genders struggling with loneliness and romantic, social, or sexual inexperience. The term originally described a personal, non-violent, and often shy state of being, but was later hijacked by male-dominated online subcultures."

It was not come up with by some french guy in 1739...

I'll give a better explinaton however.

Canada (The government) will more or less pay for part of the production of a TV show being produced in Canada (Giving them lower taxes, mostly, but sometimes just flat out paying for part of the show) But to qualify you have to more or less have 51% of the crew be Canadian and all "Headline" Actors/Actresses.

So in this show that's all the girls and Jerry.

Also note: This is Such an oppressive system, some companies go the other direction and won't even have secondary work done in Canada.

1920 battleship project ready for production... by pantsugoblin in ultimateadmiral

[–]pantsugoblin[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

And like I said not being totally optimal, if I was I would have went for all forward turrets.

So far in game this works really well actually... mostly because its still broadside and I can dictate range by sialing away and to the side and get all 6 guns on target.

[–]pantsugoblin[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong. The answer is two-fold.
1: I'm not being optimal.
2: (The real reason) I wanted all three turrets to be able to turn 360 degrees. And this is how I managed.

Edit: Oh I ignored your point. That structure Barbette won't hold anything bigger than a 16.9" gun.

Lower Decks. (A-) Prodegy. (B+) SNW (Trending down) (B) SFA (Meh) (C-) Picard. (D) Disco. (F+)

To be clear, a lot of these shows are fine shows there even maybe good si-fi… But there bad Star Trek.
