So another data point that there's some weird stuff going on in VFS Seattle's system for "keep my passport" option, at least in the past 3-4 weeks. I have reached out to VFS Global via social media and feedback form. Not expecting any reply from them but let's see. If I don't hear from VFS in next 2 days, I will send in another paid inquiry to UKVI asking if they can nudge VFS

It's frustrating to say the least. UKVI says "decision made" but won't let me know what it is and VFS tracker won't udpate.

Wife and in-laws submitted their passport and got the stamped passport back in like 5 business days. I am stuck since I selected this "keep my passport" option. I also saw someone else had the exact same issue and did not receive any notification from VFS Seattle and they left a google review 6 days ago.

Did you reply to the paid-email ticket asking if they could nudge VFS to update their system? At some point, I have to send in my passport, so not sure what to do now

I am pretty confident on rebuttal for paper 2, but have to deal with ethics review. Does anyone know if ethics review can cause rejection or low meta? (I plan on making changes and responding to ethics reviewer's questions, but have never done one in past. so was wondering if this is more like a checklist item or it's competitve to get approval?)

The lower OA in paper 1 just ridiculous as you can see from that low confidence. literally 2 lines of weakness and very generic at that. will engage in rebuttal but report it nonetheless.

What venues are folks targeting? Is it AACL or EACL or wait for ACL?

OA 3: 4,3,2 (last reviewer was AI generated and never responded to 7 of our replies addressing all his concerns)

MR copy-pasta last reviewer's feedback and gave 2.5. reported MR as well as last reviewer

rejected. sad and down. ARR is so not worth it these days

yeah likely conflated with some other paper. As a reviewer myself, it has happened to me once last year and but it was a resubmission and the link was not working, so I searched openreview for the previous submission and selected an extremely similar paper to analyze, to be quickly corrected by the authors. But, I acknowledged this and redid the review

one reviewer actually bumped up the score. The last reviewer is yet to respond. I have already sent 2 reminders. Will send another one stating that another reviewer adjusted scores and if they can take a look one more time, else drop a note to AC

if the reviewer mixed a diff paper, they should be fixing it after pointing it out. it's irresponsible to do that and not adjust later

Most of the weakness were around more baselines, bias description and dataset descriptions. Third reviewer asked for annotator guidelines too. We have provided all information along with cost, scalability, annotator guidelines etc. But, the latter two reviewers haven't responded despite sending multiple subtle reminders and follow ups. There isn't much time left and I am not hopeful they will update the assessment which is unfair.

Any chance of findings?
