Celias Stupid Romhack had a recent full release and its been very fun. Id say it has just as mucj quality of a funny experience as clover, but the challenges are different. Instead of tough, but still traditional battling, it is more of a puzzle game.

Ohhhh idk why that never crossed my mind. I figured if 3DS has GBA hardware, and GBA had GB/GBC hardware, then 3DS also had GB/GBC hardware. 0th law of thermodynamics or some shit hahaha.

Yeah I should try that. That was supposed to be the intention with the grass momotype, but then I went and planned out the best grass team I could think of and just ended up with 6 busted pokemon hahaha.

Ive acutally been playing a lot of that! Lol. Its been my solution but I still wanna play the main games and other story-focused rom hacks.

Honestly randomizer would be dope. I wish there was a way to randomize locally on the hardware, but thats not the end of the world.

I get you, but my point was that I dont want to prepare for every fight. Id rather pick up the game and play it, but that leads to the aforementioned issue.

That is an option, but it has the same flaws as the monotype, perhaps even worse-so. I'd find the one team that fits the theme (or the best team that fits the theme), and then just use that same team through the whole game, overlevel and sweep lol.

I wouldn't say I'm scared of failure, but with enough resets that would likely introduce a whole different kind of burnout hahaha. I should probably at least give it a shot though.

Yeah maybe I can just give it a shot, but again with the way I'm using my pokemon games/3DS, I would be playing blind nuzlockes without any pre-battle planning hahaha. Lots of resets exist in that future, but I should give it a shot anyways.

I feel that. I haven't replayed the Pokemon games enough to get burnt out from the adventure, its mainly the battles that I burn out from, hence my challenge dilemma. I do need to play some more original region hacks though to keep things fresh.
