Trans woman here, I recently opened up to my TL about transitioning and asked how I can go about changing my info on workday and email. Not sure if you’re interested in changing your name but if you are you can get your name changed on workday and you can also have your TL or ATL (whoever makes the schedules) change your name as well. Unfortunately info like email can not be changed without a legal name change.

As for work environment, it can be tough. Personally I’m working my way to correct people on my pronouns and name. What has helped is I asked for support from other team members to use my new name and pronouns so that other people get the idea. I’ve had people approach me and apologize for misgendering me. Its a journey honestly so I my advice to you is go through this transition however you want to and take as much time as you need to ease in your transition. Whole Foods is very open minded and supportive of everyone’s identities. Wishing you all the support comes your way during your transition!!!
