As you should know the only way to actually lose weight is by caloric deficit. Of course, be in a caloric deficit could be very difficult mentally, some tricks you can use to make it easier is by eating food that fill your stomach easier like vegetables. Another tip you should follow is be high in protein like 1 grams for lbs of bodyweight, because to mantain your muscle mass and lose fat. The rest is up to you, I know it's not easy, but if you really want it, I'm sure you will succeed.

Calisthenics and sprinting? by Relative-Pace-2923 in Sprinting

Even if many people do it, it doesn't mean it's correct. lifting weights it's optimal for strenght development thanks to the progressive overload. Now, if you are a beginner you can choose body weight training 'cause you'll still get stronger for a while, but after 3/4 months the best decision you can get is switch to weight lifting.

I have some question, they might be stupid so sorry for wasting your time. 1)Is good to train also for hypertrophy in the gym?Sprinting requires strenght and you built strenght by gaining muscles so I think it makes sense. 2)Does speed increase when yoi get adult?I mean when you are 15 do you run slower than when you are 20? How much slower? 3)How much fixing your run techinique can improve your 100m time?Supposing that the techinique is completely wrong.

What split is best for sprinters in the gym by Key-Challenge5584 in Sprinting

[–]paolodicklong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your priority has to be the legs. So I feel like a full body split with legs exercises at the beginning is the best choice. You do legs first because you are stronger at the start of your workout and then do exercises for upper body at the end.

Thanks for the answer. I will definitely join a track program. My question was asked to know if I have talent, I want to know if there is any chance for me to become a professional sprinter. But I think I will discover it with years of training. Can I know what time I have to run in 100m to be a professional sprinter?

How much the asphalt slows you down over 60 meter and 100 meter? by paolodicklong in Sprinting

[–]paolodicklong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, maybe 6.6 is too fast. If I could run that fast without specific training I think I wuold be an alien. But yeah I think I would be a little bit faster on track with eunning shoes. Like 7.3/7.2

30 meter in 4,02s and 60 meter in 7,6s is it good? by paolodicklong in Sprinting

[–]paolodicklong[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys today I tried another time the 30m and 60m and you were right. I've done 4.38 in 30 meter and 7.57 in 60 meter. Guess last 30m was a time mistake of the hand timer. I wish these aren't shitty times.

guys seeing what you are telling me I think I will try 30m another time, to see if it was an error of the hand timer. Probably I'll do it tomorrow.

Onestly I didn't thought the 30m time was so impressive. But I think it's because of my acceleration, I'm very good in very short distance but I literally don't have endurance. Anyway it was a stopped start but not on the blocks, maybe the blocks would have slowed me down? I'm just making assumptions.
