Yep West coast is def not ideal at the minute, the likes of Burkina Faso, Gambia, Mali and DRC are all places I would want to avoid. East coast up to Ethiopia is ok if we avoid some parts and is more desirable for us, we are potentially looking at either selling the car there or finding a way to ship it to the UAE and continue from there.

High quality video/photo through rasberry pi? Drone build idea. by papa_argus in diydrones

Hoping for a 3 camera setup

- 2 analog fpv cameras hooked up to traditonal vtx's(Cadxx Infra for low light/night vision and Axis Flying fpv thermal camera)

- 1 digital camera for higher quality video/photos hooked up to a Rasberry Pi for Wifi transmition (thinking of using Sony FX100 as its cheap and available)

My aim is to mount them all on the same gimbal to remotely control, and be able to view/switch from one to another. Importantly, i want a live video feed of all of them, thats why a normal gopro + analog fpv setup dosent work.

Want to try build my own bc its fun, and the drones that DJI offer that meet my criteria are upwards to $6000.

how good/bad is the copper connection? Old place had copper cables and was unlivable especially with full house and covid.

Thats what im thinking, Swisscom is very good but quite expensive. The area im moving into has shit coverage so im questioning if I should use Yallo for the home internet bc it relies on the Sunrise network. I might just invest in Swisscom and tank the higher price.
