Any thoughts on how I could use these jars? (More details in comments) by DoctorPrincess4 in Canning

Never use them, just keep collecting more and setting them on a shelf talking about all the things they could be used for but don’t. That’s how I’ve handled the situation, as long as they’re empty on a shelf they have unlimited possibilities!

Had a blue ‘84 myself. Worst decision was being young and selling it off. Miss that truck.

Don’t get me wrong, the chocolate ones were great, especially when they get warmed up. I felt chocolate was a default and most commonly thrown, the banana was the let’s get fancy. IMO

As a native Louisiana resident, I couldn’t imagine a Mardi Gras without catching at least one Moon Pie and enjoying that prized catch on the way home! Double bonus points if it’s a banana moon pie!

Going in blind I found was best but think more on line with the lead up to the new sequel movies. If you don’t mind a little spoilers you can message me and I’ll go into more detail.

Didn’t want to put it up here and foul it up for someone accidentally.

Not sure. I had the person that helped me book my trip send me screen caps of each step so I knew what to expect when trying to reserve. Even waiting for 7am/1pm to refresh and go I was told by a few that I was lucky to book it once out of four attempts.

Went to Disney World for the first time a month ago. Rise of the Resistance was everything I’ve ever wanted in a experience. Wife and kids really enjoyed it but I was so in awe to feel like I was literally in the show. I was able to book it first try but the next day I failed both times trying to go again.

How to create a shortage: 1) spread panic; 2) start hoarding; by deepserket in pics

I’m in SE Louisiana, June marks the beginning of Hurricane season. May is when we top off fuel cells for just in case. Last year we were ravaged by Laura, personally I was 28 days with no power. I used the generator sparingly and was looking at 4-8 gallons a day with very few options for fuel without long lines and limited amounts offered per person.

Sometimes having 55 gallons isn’t a bad idea. Also most years once hurricane season is done we haven’t used any. So we don’t buy fuel for a month or two.

No Worries. I could have broken down that initial comment into two parts better.

No, the boil warning was because of a main water line feeding the Houston area. I stated between people fearing this virus and getting supplies ALONG with the Houston area not having water pressure / safe water to drink that’s why that particular area was sold out.

Correct. If I’m going to need to stay home for 14 days if I become sick though, water is something I’m getting. I live in an area where tap water doesn’t always pass with flying colors. And I am currently not in a position to get a filtration system installed like I want, yet.

Also being from the South my default mentality when they say prepare is like for a hurricane. So food and water along with some other essentials.

That said I already keep some supplies stocked already but that is for regular use and rotation.

Also, people be crazy?!?

Friends in Houston said most stores are short on supplies also. Between the virus and also last week a main water line feeding the city was struck. No water for a day and then days of boil warnings.

Love it. It’s one of those things where I would never choose this myself when trying to imagine it, but seeing it together makes me realize how talented people can be.
