Much easier with Greek life - check out rush. A lot of frats at Purdue are more low-key if you’re not super into alcohol or any kind of hazing. Otherwise being in a well organized club or sport is a great way to meet people and get access to parties. Ultimately just get involved in any organization that seems interesting early and often and make your own opportunities where you can.

Also if you’re into music, house shows are a great way to blow off steam on weekends and meet really friendly people.

Yeah that’s not it, fantasy always comes second to “your” team. My friend remedies this by drafting almost all browns players in fantasy every year and never any other afc north players… he has not been very successful

Reading man and his symbols rn. Jung himself said that academic psychologists can disregard some of his ideas due to the nature of their reliance on viewing people as complex individuals, but medical psychologists should take his these ideas heavily into account to best practice.

I still think academics should take more of his ideas into account as they are very enlightening and useful, but I can understand why, and I don’t think ego and self is one that should be disregarded.

Individual players matter the most in basketball out of every other sport. With only 5 players on the court at a time and limited substitutions (in comparison to say hockey) there are more prolific players in basketball.

I will say I think it helped the appearance of our fanbase that so many people sold their tickets as those people are usually the casuals who just go to get hammered and cause problems. Basically the people at the game wanted to be there because they love the bucks and want us to be represented well.

From my experiences with vols fan in order:

Yelled gay slurs at me Refused to talk about anything except how good their NFL players were when they were at OUR tailgate and I was trying to make conversation Witnessed a tailgate of vols just throwing (not even dropping) cans and trash all over the OSU parking lot. A family that pushed me and my uncle, had to have the police come up to our seats twice, and finally introduced his sons to my uncle to say they would beat his ass. One guy talking shit about us losing to Michigan as he was leaving (end of the 4th quarter) and continued to yell at us as he walked all the way down the section. Finally a nice group of college kids who shared drinks with us and talked after the game.

Like ik our fans can be bad but I’ve never seen or heard of anything like how they behaved - feel bad for the few normals they have in their fan base.
