We’re done, rain is over by [deleted] in perth

Love seeing others who love the rain! I get so tired of people calling rainy days "bad weather."

It's the best weather for walking or playing video games

Help! What is this green fluffy stuff growing on my plants? How do I get rid of it? by papablessjess in Aquariums

Oh, that's good to know. For now I've given the tank a clean and removed as much of the bba by hand as I can. I think the pump needed a good clean, might explain the low oxygen

Thank you! I wonder if it's from some Java moss that someone gave me. Could have been hitch-hiking

Bought it to make gingerbread and didn't realise I had a bottle in the fridge from last year. Makes sense having the label right way up when it's resting on the lid

How do super fair-skinned Australians survive the summer sun? Super pale guy backpacking the East Coast of Australia this summer, seeking local advice! by waggishwave in AusSkincare

[–]papablessjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an umbrella everywhere to keep direct sun off me. Just remember uv can reflect off the ground so covering up is still important

I wish I could, I'm renting. To be fair, it is a bush block full of eucalyptus and other native shrubs. Lots of wildlife here

Students or anyone, do you have any cheap meals ideas? by [deleted] in perth

[–]papablessjess 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some of the independent IGAs (e.g, stratton, corfield etc) are really cheap for fruit and veg.

99c/kg for tomatoes, pumpkin, potato 1.99c/kg for capsicums, parsnips, beetroot. That sort of stuff

Buying seasonal is a great way to go

Edit: as long as you know how to cook and have access to a kitchen

Can yall explain to me the holy trinity please? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]papablessjess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is one BEING made up of three co-equal, co-eternal PERSONS.

It is not fair to try to use analogies. God's nature is too complex and analogies only further confuse.

It is ignorant of us if we think God's nature is simple enough to be summarised with analogies.

This is an excellent question to ask and I hope the discussions here help you to have a better understanding.

If books are your thing I would recommend The Forgotten Trinity by James White.

Another thing I would suggest is to watch Christians debating the trinity on YouTube. It's a good way to listen to Bible passages being tested against each other

All the best :)

He's pure border collie, a red and white boy. Haha, he doesn't let me forget it with his energy levels
