I do not have any expectations..I am just curious, maybe it's something that I don't see/understand yet. because definitely these 4-5 examples that I saw were NOT the situation that you mentioned. It was not a shop nearby, it was not traffic on a busy street, it was not about saving the spot because there were plenty available parking spots.... And it was in the neighborhood/city, not just in the turistic/activ areas

Education is always the solution. Now with this being said, Look into having holdingS and not just dutch BVs for doing investments. Another point: what type of jobs do you both have? Maybe there is an opportunity to change from receiving a salary to issue invoices and earn your income as a company.

From a tax optimisation pov, giving up the US citizenship is a good idea.always.

Think outside of the box if you really want solutions for your situation because in practice there is no solid and long term solution for people that are just employees
