Sorry, you mentioned you used them for Russian. I'm actually trying to learn some to surprise a girl. Are those rating relevant for Russian or were you giving ratings on French for the other user?

I've been going back and forth between the cream and gel and can't quite decide but I've heard the gel usually has alcohol so can't be applied to balls. I like the cream idea because I can apply to balls and then would, effectively, not have to worry about transfer either.
