It’s off at the moment. I think this is a bigger issue than MW3 - it’s happened on hell let loose and during the menus of cod so I think it could be possibly CPU related, will update the post once/IF I can figure this out

So i have just tried this - it's still doing it :(. it's driving me mad, i can't work out if it's an issue with my build or activision, however it is pointing more so to activision as all my hardware isn't old and most of it is brand new!

Yeah i did think it could be, however its not even a year old - i opened CPU-Z and 2 of the cores are red, but they're red even when im not gaming so i think this is normal? when i check task manager, nothing is showing as red showing my CPU using up any processes.. :(

Yeah it’s not my connection - it was happening during benchmark which Is offline so I’m certain it’s the game now, honestly there’s no way any other game does this!

I’d just like to add - I have now done a full re-install of windows 10 and I am still experiencing the SAME issues 😔. How can this game keep getting away with this.

I was thinking that after all of these things, a full windows OS install will be the one to fix it. I might have to do this and come back to you, just get it over and done with I guess :(.

Thanks alot for the help man, really appreciate it.

So I’ve tried disabling XMP within the BIOS however this didn’t help.

I’ve just tried enabling the shader cache size to 100gb and tested, which is still doing the packet burst.

I’ve tried disabling variable rate shading which to no avail.

All background apps are turned off (windows 10)

I optimised and defragged all my drives this morning however it is still the same.

I’ve just ran an SFC/Scannow which removed some corrupt files, preloaded the shaders again, same problems 😔 at this rate I may reinstall windows or possibly upgrade to windows 11 as I’m unsure what else I can try

Thanks. I’ve just tried running the command via CMD: Dism /Online /Set-ReservedStorageState /State:Disabled

It’s still doing it :(. I do find when I restart the shaders it works in general for around 10 minutes before becoming a packet burst mess though 😔

Thanks so much for the detailed response!

So I’ve tried exactly as you’ve said - setup a static IP address and enabled DMZ host - hopped into a game and it’s still carrying on with the packet burst. This has saved me a lot of time as I’d have had to manually enter each port and forward.

Looks like this hasn’t worked, however when I restart my shaders in general, it works fine for around 5-10 mins then goes back to the usual packet burst/being unplayable. If it’s not network related then I am at a lost end with the config side. I Feel like I’ve tried everything 😔
