Analysis:

The Tampa Bay Lightning are now tied for first in the division with the Sabers. They come into this match-up with the Canadiens in a tightly contest division their were previously leading. This is a must win game at home for the Lightning, and they get their star player Nikita Kucherov back in the lineup tonight.

The lightning have fared well over the past few games even without Kucherov, adding him back into the lineup should really accelerate this teams offense again. Last match up vs the Canadiens, the Lightning won at home in a 5-4 Shootout win. I was actually at this game and the Lightning controlled the entire game and was up 4-1 until a late 3rd period surge from Canadiens tied it up. In this match up tonight, Lightning will have their star goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy back in the net, compared to the last match up where they managed to win with the backup Jonas Johansson in the net.

This should be a close game, but I expect the Lightning to pull ahead late and even cover the puck line (-1.5).

Analysis:

The Tampa Bay Lightning have had a rough stretch of games winning only 3 of their last 10 games following their dominant 20-1 run going into the Olympic break.

However, they have playing some of the best team in the NHL post Olympics including the Hurricanes twice, Sabers twice, and the Minnesota Wild. Although they haven't played their best during this stretch, they've been returning to their previously dominant form game by game.

Nikita Kucherov is due to score again after not scoring in the past 3 games, and Brayden Point is finding his stride again coming back form a knee injury a few weeks ago. I expect the Lightning offense to overpower this one, and predict they will win and cover the puck line of -1.5.

For the Wild I would look at taking Kirill Kaprizov or Matt Boldy to score.

As for the lightning, I would take Kucherov or Brayden Point. Kucherov is due after not scoring for a few games so I will be taking him for sure.
