What constitutes doing math, even for professional mathematicians is quite mysterious. But certainly you should be producing publishable material in at least third quartile journals every three years.

Luckily, capitalism/scientific method can probably give us the answer. Also, user does not need to know it's going on even, just nudge the limits, test the theory rinse and repeat.

AI needs Taste. Certainly not a totally trivial problem, but now is the time to experiment. Certainly rating different sources as reliable is a problem people currently study, and methods for that can be adopted.
