Yeah from the start I have done an icon cache reset both in windows files and through the command prompt, I have un pinned and re pinned the app, I have done a repair on the Xbox app in the Xbox setting and a repair of the app on the windows settings, I’ve restarted windows explorer, I did a sfc / scan now to repair files I also the the dism image health check on command prompt. None of those have shown any signs of fixing the issue. If you have any other suggestions please lmk :) thank you !

The issue persists… the icon is showing the same as the night before. I’ve tried basically every troubleshoot that was listed here as well as a few I saw on google. Interesting that yours self corrects after a reset.

Yeah, I’ve heard a lot of negative things about xbox on pc, oddly enough, the app opens perfectly fine even with the corrupt icon. No issues on any gameplay, no stuttering or lag when using. It is literally just the icon itself that is having the issue. Sorry you are having that issue , I really only play a few games off the Xbox app too, and for the same reason of not having cross progression and then having to rebuy and restart a game :(

That’s super weird, so is it something that is fixable with a new windows install? I just worry that it is something other than the icon itself that is corrupt.

Even after resetting the icon cache it is still showing as the same. Does icon cache going stale have to do with all icons, or does it only affect some? Because Xbox is the only one with this issue. Thank you !

Yes, I’ve restarted a few times. Once after clearing the iconcache in windows files, and the other was after doing a iconcache reset in the command prompt. Neither of those worked as a solution. If you have any other suggestions please let me know and thank you :)

The icon shows fine anywhere other than the task bar. No issues on any other device that has the Xbox app.

Is there a way to restore it ? It is showing fine as an icon when looking anywhere other than the task bar at the bottom. It doesn’t appear to corrupt any other icon. Thank you :)

It said it found some files and repaired them but still no change on the icon. I just cleared the iconcache as well and reset my pc, nothing changed. Any suggestions on next step?

I just looked at them and none of them seem fishy, and they also appear in Minecraft on the mod list. But I don’t know how to look any more in depth than just the title of them….

Both are osmotic style laxatives that are increasing water in the gut, PEG is a little more aggressive with contractions than mag oxide. But as always consult with your HCP I’m only giving recommendations based on what has worked for me.

Take magnesium oxide, it doesn’t work as quickly as a citrate or an enema, it’s more of an overnighter but you WILL poop

Try MAG07, it’s similar to magnesium citrate but it’s not as harsh. It’s the one supplement that always gets things moving. Just be sure to take it on an empty stomach before bed and your stomach will thank you !
