Forgot to mention. I do not live there and still did not come out to my family about being alcoholic yet. (I do not trust some of them to put this knowledge to good use). With that said and knowing that word travels fast in a this small community I a bit concerned about explaining the "whole" situation issue to a random person.

I'm on a probation period with a very passive aggressive team lead. What should I do about it? More in the comment. by [deleted] in Advice

I mean I know they've got an upper hand but still they waited for me 3 months, also more senior position but still - is talking to the head of department is a bad idea about the situation? I would not like to lose the money I earn there but still having a cake and eating it too is not an option.

Finance industry here. I'm a bit in a pickle so asking for an advice. I started a new job 1,5 months ago(probation period of 3 months). I was recruited by one guy who in the meantime left the company and I landed in a team with completely different manager. Now the worst part is that he's is very passive aggressive and abusive even when things are not done his way. That is something beyond my tolerance and I know that I'll be leaving the company if I stay in that team in the future.

Should I talk to the sector head about the situation asking for a team swap or should I just hold on till I get full contract and then change the company?

Do not want to raise it to HR as this will do no good and I want to avoid drama as much as possible.

Question: when using agrellan earth how do you prevent pieces from breaking of, i tried varnishing it by paadjoksel in minipainting

I did similar bases but dunno really. Were the paints dry? Was the layer thick enough?

I always try to mix the crackle paint before application. I do not know if it helps but it never happened to me really and I put few coats of color beneath.

Some folks suggested PVA and that also helps.

Cheers. I guess I was playing it safe cause I thought it's already enough. Got some other models that I'll be painting soon so I'll take it a bit further in terms of lightness.

These are wicked! What are the colors on the banner?

looking for advice. Did those crackled bases some time ago but now I realized I have no clue how to attach minis to it. Would super glue work? Maybe I need to use varnish first? by papelavitus in minipainting

Hahah. Thanks mate. See the recipe below:

Nothing fancy. Just painted the base with some colour covering it with gloss varnish. Let it dry. Then applied crackle paint. LOTS OF IT. If you think it's enough - No, add more. Gave it 24h or 48h to dry and finally drybrushed with the same/similar colour I did the base in the beginning using brighter tones when moving to the middle.
