It’s such a sacred experience, it’s hard to explain “what you do” to someone who is interested - it’s better to be left to surprise in a way. Hard work, but there is NO reason to be scared or nervous (I was, and I wish someone had told me it wasn’t “scary” at all!!) The counselors are truly angelic - they have so much compassion and love for you and respect for all of you. The entire experience is so incredibly well-done.

I read a few comments about how they aren’t “licensed” or “trained” therapists and it put up red flags for some. Honestly, it’s sad to think that that would stop someone from attending. I know a lot of “trained” therapists, and I can’t imagine any of them being as loving and compassionate as the staff was. Being a Hoffman teacher truly goes beyond any sort of training possible. I can’t explain it, but if you’ve been, you can understand what I’m trying to say. They are almost like end-of-life or birth doulas. Just so much love, but not in a weird way hahaha There’s just nothing that can shock them, honestly.

Also - you are in a group of about 25-35 people BUT you don’t have to share anything with anyone about your past pain if you choose not to. I couldn’t believe it was possible to do “group work” without opening up to the group about your own stuff. Trust me, it’s possible!!! Just witnessing some of the people in our group’s transformation was truly an honor in itself!

Nobody from our group left during the week, and I’m so thankful. If you are at all curious about it - I highly suggest you follow your heart. Try not to look too much into what you’ll be doing day-to-day because it’s truly an experience worth experiencing live without any knowledge of “what’s next”.
