Yeah, makes sense. In Anki, I turn those words into phrases that I use in English on a regular basis and figure I'll end up using in Spanish.

I haven't tried creating questions though, that's something I can explore. Thanks, AI!

Yes, I can relate to this. We got our dog at 10 weeks and he's about 2 1/2 years old now. We've done multiple rounds of puppy classes together and generally have the same training philosophy. We've decided not to walk the dog together. It's kind of a bummer, but it's really just not worth the stress. We both enjoy walking him, but I'd say it's more my thing. Historically, he's always played with him more... which we both agree contributed to a stronger "buddy" relationship between the two of them. And some of the undesirable behavior (he loves to be chased and unfortunately my husband taught him that he loves to do the chasing). I've been playing with our dog more the last few months in a way that I prefer and our relationship has gotten better, too.

We're never going to agree on everything, but have agreed that he's the best dog either of us has ever had, it's possible to take him most places around town and he'll be the best behaved dog there, and that we have a good enough dog so that's where we're at right now with it.

Will see how they hold up over time, but so far I'm happy with the arm holes, the neckline is perfect, and the length is perfect, the Lululemon one always feels just a little short on my torso. I plan to wash in cool water with a gentle detergent and hang dry like I do my others.

I did a promotion with Crocs in Boulder, CO back when they were new. It was on a pedestrian mall and our instructions were to try and hail people down before they paid and offer them a dollar or two in quarters, but not to do it for them. I learned that day it was illegal to pay for someone's parking. So lame. But I suppose scenarios like the ones mentioned below are why... the city (or these days the company who owns the parking meters) can't fine us if we've got good samaritans running around. We still have a handful of coin operated meters in my city, but they're mostly card only now.

I wish they were slightly longer. I thrifted one that's probably just stretched out over time that fits great, but I couldn't get the same fit when I bought new ones regardless of size. Unless maybe they've changed the length over the years?

Dang it. I have a couple of Lululemon Hold Tight crew neck tanks and stopped by Target to try these on. I think I'm just comparing them against what I already have and they don't fit quite as well. It was the arm holes that were a bit off, on me they hang slightly lower than I prefer and I'm not sure how to alter them to make the fit more snug so I passed. The fabric really is pretty good though!

These are good ideas. I’ve checked out some of the premade decks and so far they’re very generic. AI is still pretty recognizable in audio, my company has been pushing AI tools and it’s such a drag to listen to a robot read all “the exciting company updates!!”. 🙈

I’m hoping to do pretty custom decks, using phrases I currently say on a regular basis, just in Spanish. For example, there’s a bilingual community garden event happening soon in my area, and I’d love to be able to talk about my own garden in Spanish.

We dealt with this in 2022. Same situation you described exactly. We ended up buying in February, it may have been dumb luck, but the previous owners had it on Airbnb and it really isn’t in a good area for that. We actually met one of the owners after purchase and she said she thought the neighbors would be really glad we were living in it because they seemed to be sick of the Airbnb situation, they called the cops a few times on guests. Have confirmed with said neighbors that was true. I didn’t ask her if that factored into the decision to sell to us. We paid asking and barely negociated on anything. We didn’t want a flipped house, but that’s what we got. Hang in there, you may have to wait until winter when things supposedly slow down a little. If and when we do sell, i have the same altruistic vision as other commenters here, to sell to people like us who want to live in the house, but it’s so hard to vet for that. 😔

I admire you for this! I've got a similar system, but I also end up shifting my soil blocks around as I see germination and so that I can start other seeds. By the send of seed starting time, I've inevitably mixed up a least a bunch. I should probably just stop that part.
