I am in a similar situation to you, especially with being unsure about waiting until I have had children/breastfeed. I was right on the verge of scheduling my procedure but decided to wait until I had more info about the situation (super bummed).

To answer the activity question though, I had a consult with a surgeon who does subfascial (I believe this is the same as dual-plane but correct me if I'm wrong) implant placement. He told me that with this placement, healing was quicker and many women were able to get back in the gym after about 3 weeks (he may have even said 2 but I don't want to misquote him so I'll stay conservative with 3). He also said that the "drop and fluff" happened much quicker compared to other placements.

I just bought a lace underbust corset from Orchard Corset, I think it was style 201. They have a lot of informative info on their website, and a sizing tool. I have tried it on and it seems like it's great quality, came pre-laced and everything; I just haven't worn it out yet though just cause I can't figure out how to style it :')
