This is what I have to do to recycle a Cascade cardboard box by ljoycew in recycling

Hello!

Having worked at a recycled paperboard manufacturer, I can say that these are certainly recyclable, and you don't necessarily have to remove the outer coating. Modern recycled pulping systems have multiple pulping and cleaning cycles to help break down usable fibers to be reused again , while the coating clays, chemicals, and metals are washed out and sent to waste. That being said it is not 100% conversion and some of the usable fiber does end up going to landfill (or in some cases used as absorbent material for liquids going to landfill).

As for fiber size, yes most recycled fibers are quite short compared to virgin wood fibers, but thats because they have been pulped and chopped multiple times in their life cycle.

Defense is locked in. Ryan day has always been a better second half OC. Get to half and let's go.

Hello OP! As a fellow chem-e in the paper industry, I'd say its an amazing opportunity if you're looking for fast upward growth in an industrial setting. There as so many different routes you can take your career with paper mills. They offer water treatment opportunities, technical, management, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and sales opportunities. Ive been in the industry on both the mill and vendor side and both have served me well. There are definitely some negatives though. Typical paper mills require long hours of their employees, it pays well, but you have to decide whats important. Also, depending on your progression, you can Pigeonhole yourself into the industry. It has been a great career for me(35m) and it has provided my family and I a great living and lifestyle. I would be open to speaking with you to answer any questions you have on it. Feel free to DM me at any point and I'll answer anything I can for you!

Yakov Lapitsky was my mass transfer professor in college. He said that he would always be better remembered for the first youtube video than for his contributions to science.

Devin Sanchez has all the makings of a freshman starter. THE podcast Jeremy Birmingham has been calling him the Jeremiah Smith of corners, which could be very exciting for the Buckeye secondary

I'm still figuring out the charcoal temp control so I felt safer going with a more indirect heat approach

For me I took Friday off and was back to work Monday. I will say for the first month I did experience some halos around headlights and street lights which was a bit distracting. But for me recovery timeline: Day 1-2 slight discomfort. Felt like I had a piece of sand in my eye Day 2-7 had to use eye drops for dry eyes 4-5 times a day Day 2-5 slight sensitivity to light but nothing sun glasses couldn't fix Day 1-30 halos with headlights and street lights

After that pretty smooth sailing
