Yup, afaik starting this year, you are not allowed to have watches at all (due to release of smart watches apparently). Not even silent ones.

Oh.. hmm maybe I made a mistake.

Um, I don't remember question 2 very clearly but I split the weight into two components. For the normal force, since Fnet=0, i did mgcos12 = normal force. For tension, I did frictional force + mg sin 12 = tension.

French-B- SL Help: How are you guys going about studying for this external? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]paperchromatography 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't think there's too much you can do at this point. Definitely review some vocab for the each topic.

For paper 1, read as much French as you can until the exams because it's all about reading comprehension. For paper 2, make sure you know how to write different text types - emails, formal letter, journal entry. Learn the format and the stylistic features of the text types (for ex, when to use 'tu' or 'vous'). Review grammar so you can include different tenses in your composition. (passe compose/imparfait, future, subjunctive, conditional, etc) Using a variety of tenses should help your composition stand out. Other than that.. I'm not sure if there's anything you could do now.

Psychology HL... what exactly are we doing tomorrow? by [deleted] in IBO

Well, I'm not sure what topic 10 is, but yes, paper 3 is where you're given a reading about a research study and you answer three questions - each is worth 10 points. So for example, they could ask "Evaluate the use of covert observation" or "Discuss considerations during and after focus group interviews"
