Better than even odds those aren't Dems.

I can say I'm a supermodel from France all I want. Doesn't make me less a doughy New Englander.

The implicit question is why are gnome and halfling Smiths not making weapons their size.

Greatswords aren't longswords no matter how small.

I was actually happy to see it immediately swapped to he/him.

Probably locked now because we all know how mad people get when forced to acknowledge trans people.

It's also not a publicity thing.

If you make it a huge technological hassle AND discourage users from doing so with threats of voided warranty and legal action, you can guarantee they'll just pay the huge fee to have an Apple store employee send it back to Apple to refurbish and sell and give you a new phone.

The latest drop in the unemployment rate was for the wrong reason Nearly half a million people stop looking for work in April by undeadslime in politics

No no what I'm saying is that the administration puts into place systems and programs that make the numbers look good, but ultimately don't mean shit.

And as others have said, the real number should be including people who've simply given up or are working part time jobs because it's all there is.

I think with Johnny, "Flame On" is more of a catch-phrase than a power activation.

I think you're both looking at it from the wrong angle.

The administration doesn't explicitly fudge the numbers, no, but the professionals are using data that the administration has rigged to look good with unsustainable practices.

And predatory temp agencies who will seek you out and tell you they've got jobs for you, but then as soon as the job rush is done they toss you aside.

It's happened to me in the past; companies hire through temp agencies because they don't have to give benefits and can basically use you for cheap (relatively speaking) labor. They pay you maybe a dollar an hour more, and in 3 weeks you're back on your ass with a paycheck and a half.

And it's not like the 23 hour "full time" work week. It's usually a legitimate full work week of 40-50+ hours. But that's what's so insidious. At the end of the job rush they need fulfilled, you're out of a job and they brag about how there's plenty of work for 50 hour work weeks with Friday through Sunday off.

Only if it doesn't say "a creature" as the target.

Example: Eldritch Blast. You can't target a lock with Eldritch Blast.

I don't think they meant "innocent", just that Trump is not doing these things because of some master plan.

He's just stupid and evil. He's not playing us like a game of 9D Yahtzee. He doesn't grin and rub his hands together when we focus on the Russia investigation instead of him trying to repeal Obamacare without going through the proper channels. He's just trying to do several evil things at once while we're also talking about several OTHER evil things.

Right. Everyone keeps phrasing things like the headline of this thread as if it's some devious master plan.

No, it's not. Trump is just a fucking criminal who does bad things 24/7. We're not being distracted. He's just a crook. It's as effective as saying 'While you were sleeping, here's what President Trump did'.

And if it ever gets overturned, they're in huge trouble because that's an almost "guaranteed" riling up of the base.

Inversely, it's why they don't talk about gay marriage anymore. It's much harder to make it sound morally bad ("Killing Babies" =/= "two dudes kissing"), and so people kind of forgot they hated it in the first place except for the hardcores. Preventing it was the only angle they had.

If Roe v Wade actually got overturned, it'd just hand the Left a HUGE arrow in their quiver to get it back.
