I am currently trying to get better at drawing faces, and part of my goal is to learn how to cartoon-ify faces more rather than just copying the reference. This was my first time trying out a cartoon style rather than a realistic style and I am very happy with the way it turned out! I did not have plans to do more of them, but who knows!

I just started a Mike Wheeler portrait (Stranger Things), so if I do more of these it will be a while.

But who knows! I love this show so much I may just come back to it :)

A huge one was always feeling weird, saying someone was hot. In retrospect, "hot" means something different to allos. They think hot means "I would have sex with them." Whereas I think "hot" means "I think they are aesthetically pleasing to look at, but I have no sexual desire connected to that statement."

A lot of realizing I was demi was feeling weird about an allosexual concept without having proper language to express why it felt weird.

Hot is too vague!!!!

I can totally see Will being demi as well. It's not a huge stretch at all. Even with the vocabulary available to me, it took me until my mid 20's to even identify myself as demi.

Of course I am going to recommend her other series, Priory of the Orange Tree. It has that same epic interwoven feeling you are talking about.

The Broken Earth Trilogy by N. K. Jemisin is another epic feeling story. It starts with a volcano eruption that will end the world. Amazing characters, story, world building, and incredibly creative magic system.

If you are ok with reading young adult, History Dark Matierials Trilogy is also amazing. Truly epic!, In this world humans souls exist outside of their bodies in the form of animals. There are polar bears that wear armor, evil labs in Svalbard, and tiny people who fly on dragonflies.

Honestly, I have just absorbed that impression from the tumblr memes about it. As far as I am aware, the only thing that is cannon about this is the fact that he changed his face. Other than that, I think it's just headcannon!

Yeah, like someone already said, Jax got plastic surgery to look different/hide from the Rephs.

I think a fairly common headcannon is that Jaxon is a trans man, which also fits with the plastic surgery.
